Privacy Policy

The AMF respects your right to the protection of personal information. In entering into the Contract, you agree to allow the AMF to collect personal information strictly related to the conclusion of the Contract. This personal information will be used by the AMF exclusively to execute the Contract. The AMF will only use the information for this purpose, unless it obtains your consent to do otherwise.

The AMF is subject to An Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information (chapter A-2.1). It has adopted policies and directives to ensure information is handled appropriately. The AMF has also adopted two codes of ethics and professional conduct. The first applies to the President and CEO, and the second to all staff members, including those who administer the AMF’s on-line services. These codes of ethics (in French only) may be consulted on the AMF website.
